Water District Directors Join a Growing List of Endorsements

Riverside County, California (April 15, 2022) – Today, Mayor Clint Lorimore announced endorsements from water district directors throughout Riverside County. Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District Vice President Any Morris, Western Municipal Water District Secretary-Treasurer Mike Gardner, Western Municipal Water District Director Laura Rougton, and Eastern Municipal Water District Director Ron Sullivan join a growing list of endorsement for Clint Lorimore in his campaign for State Assembly in the 63rd District.

“I support Clint Lorimore for Assembly,” said Morris. “He understands our regional water needs and the complex challenges we face. Our region relies heavily on imported water. Clint’s experience and relationships will enable him to effectively advocate for water reliability at an affordable price, directly benefitting our local families and businesses.”

“We need Clint Lorimore in Sacramento because he understands the complexities of our water system,” said Gardner. “Clint will advocate for programs and initiatives that will increase the availability of water in our state and provide every resident and business in Riverside County with clean, affordable water.”

A small business owner, Clint Lorimore was elected to the Eastvale City Council in 2014 and currently serves as Mayor. At City Hall, Lorimore has worked diligently to improve public safety, reduce homelessness, attract high-paying jobs, and fight for local control. Lorimore has a proven record of delivering results for his city and in 2021, Eastvale was ranked as the second safest city in Riverside County.

Clint Lorimore was raised in Riverside County where he graduated from local public schools. Clint earned his bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and went on to earn his master’s degree from Claremont Graduate University. Clint has been active in grassroots Republican organizations for over 20 years. He was elected to serve on the Riverside County Republican Party Central Committee in 2016 and he currently serves as Treasurer for the Riverside County Republican Party. Clint has been a proud homeowner in Riverside County since 2004.

The 63rd State Assembly District includes the cities of Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, and Norco, and portions of Corona, Eastvale, and Riverside. The Primary Election will be held on June 7, 2022.
