RCBOE President Kim Cousins and RUSD Trustee Tom Hunt Join Growing List of Endorsers

Riverside County, CA (March 25, 2022) – Today, Mayor Clint Lorimore announced he has received endorsements from Riverside County Board of Education President Kim Joseph Cousins and Riverside Unified School District Trustee Tom Hunt.

“Clint has the experience and proven leadership we need in Sacramento,” said Cousins. “He has two masters degrees and he’s a strong advocate for education. Clint supports school choice and he will fight for parental rights. We need a representative like Clint in the State Assembly to ensure kids in Riverside County can get a quality education.”

“I’m proud to endorse Clint Lorimore for State Assembly,” said Hunt. “Clint understands the challenges we face in providing a top quality education for our kids. He will partner with local school districts to promote academic excellence and enhance education opportunities for our youth and workforce.”

A small business owner, Clint Lorimore was elected to the Eastvale City Council in 2014 and currently serves as Mayor. At City Hall, Lorimore has worked diligently to improve public safety, reduce homelessness, attract high-paying jobs, and fight for local control. Lorimore has a proven record of delivering results for his city and in 2021, Eastvale was ranked as the second safest city in Riverside County.

Clint Lorimore was raised in Riverside County where he graduated from local public schools. Clint earned his bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and went on to earn his master’s degree from Claremont Graduate University. Clint has been active in grassroots Republican organizations for over 20 years. He was elected to serve on the Riverside County Republican Party Central Committee in 2016 and he currently serves as Treasurer for the Riverside County Republican Party. Clint has been a proud homeowner in Riverside County since 2004.

The 63rd State Assembly District includes the cities of Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, and Norco, and portions of Corona, Eastvale, and Riverside. The Primary Election will be held on June 7, 2022.
