Former Assemblyman Eric Linder represented several cities in the 63rd District
Riverside County, CA (May 5, 2022) – Today, Mayor Clint Lorimore announced he received the endorsement of former State Assemblyman Eric Linder in his campaign for California State Assembly in the 63rd District. Linder served in the State Assembly from 2012 to 2014 and represented portions of the newly drawn 63rd District including all or portions of Corona, Norco, Eastvale, and Riverside.
“I’m proud to endorse Clint Lorimore for State Assembly,” said Linder. “As a former Assemblyman who represented parts of this district, I know Clint understands the challenges we face. Clint has been a regional leader on the transportation front, working hard to reduce traffic congestion on our freeways. He’s committed to improving public safety and attracting jobs to our region. Clint will be a strong advocate for Riverside County residents in Sacramento.”
A small business owner, Clint Lorimore was elected to the Eastvale City Council in 2014 and currently serves as Mayor. At City Hall, Lorimore has worked diligently to improve public safety, reduce homelessness, attract high-paying jobs, and fight for local control. Lorimore has a proven record of delivering results for his city and in 2021, Eastvale was ranked as the second safest city in Riverside County.
Clint Lorimore was raised in Riverside County where he graduated from local public schools. Clint earned his bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and went on to earn his master’s degree from Claremont Graduate University. Clint has been active in grassroots Republican organizations for over 20 years. He was elected to serve on the Riverside County Republican Party Central Committee in 2016 and he currently serves as Treasurer for the Riverside County Republican Party. Clint has been a proud homeowner in Riverside County since 2004.
The 63rd State Assembly District includes the cities of Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, and Norco, and portions of Corona, Eastvale, and Riverside. The Primary Election will be held on June 7, 2022.
